Our journey at Citizen Made started out with full focus on product customization, and though mass customization is still near and dear to our hearts, the past two years have demanded that we think bigger, develop a wider gamut in our quest to stand out from the crowd in the happening communities of product + retail – here, there and everywhere.

One of the biggest surprises has been the realization that no matter how big or small the organization, the work to prioritize seems just as challenging.  And the grass is always greener… for some of us, if we only had more resources.  For others, if only we could be more lean + nimble.  Across the board, it all boils down to priorities.  We work with this simple graph to help sort it all out – if we get this wrong, we all go home.

And yet, we’re still here–toiling away in the studio!  Our design research is super important.
